Editorial policy
How Enterprise Web Index Turkey decides what is published, how evidence is classified, how conflicts are disclosed and how mistakes are corrected.

Ownership disclosure
Ownership disclosure: Enterprise Web Index Turkey and MadeByCat are under related ownership or control. MadeByCat is assessed using the same published methodology and evidence rules applied to other organisations. Company-supplied evidence is labelled accordingly, and no paid placement affects the findings.
Editorial decisions are governed by the published methodology and evidence hierarchy rather than by commercial relationships. Related ownership is disclosed wherever MadeByCat appears.
No inclusion, band, category shortlist or profile field can be purchased, sponsored or negotiated.
Editorial scope
- We publish observations of publicly available web properties and of publicly available evidence about the organisations that build and operate them.
- We do not access password-protected systems, internal applications or customer portals.
- We do not publish rankings, composite scores, star ratings, certifications or endorsements.
- We do not publish company-level scores without giving the organisation an opportunity to review the observation first.
Evidence hierarchy
Every published statement carries a source type. Source types are never merged, and a weaker class is never described using the language of a stronger one.
Conflicts of interest
- Related ownership or control is disclosed on every page where the related organisation appears, above the fold.
- A related organisation is assessed with the same rubric, the same page template and the same source rules as everyone else.
- Additional company-supplied records may increase coverage of a related organisation, but they are labelled and never gain independent-source status.
No paid placement
Inclusion, evidence band, category shortlist membership and profile fields cannot be purchased, sponsored or negotiated. No organisation reviews its own entry before publication in exchange for payment.
AI observations
Answers produced by AI assistants may be recorded only as dated observations, with the query, platform, date, returned organisations in the order returned and the URLs cited. An observed result is never rewritten, reordered or filtered. Sample or reconstructed observations are prohibited.
Versioning
Current methodology version 2026.2, dated 2026-09-10. Substantive changes are recorded in the methodology changelog.
Evidence hierarchy
Official award records
Records published by an official award body. Strongest source class, but they describe recognition, not delivery continuity.
Client-official information
Information published by the client organisation itself, including client-side attribution of delivered work.
Independent third-party sources
Verified directories and review platforms operated independently of the organisation being described.
Public technical observation
What any visitor or crawler can observe on a live public property, recorded with an observation date.
Company-supplied evidence
Operational or portfolio records supplied by the organisation itself. Always labelled; never presented as independently verified.
